Clear skies for an enjoyable day at the annual Renaissance Jamboree in Bloomsburg that was held on Saturday April 29th where people of all ages were welcomed to enjoy the outdoor festival. Here over 300 booths in downtown Bloomsburg were filled with arts and crafts activities and more.
Three stages were located at the festival for live band performances and groups from local areas like Cloggers showed off their dancing skills in front of the downtown fountain. Entertainment for children included the magic show where kids enjoyed watching the magician juggle pins and play with fire, pony rides offered from the Pony Party, inflatable rides and a trampoline.
Food trucks were scattered down Main Street selling a variety of delicious foods like burgers, cheesesteaks, pizzas, funnel cakes and ice-cream while many baked goods and treats were provided and sponsored by non-profitable organizations. Students from the university expressed their appreciation for the festival. “I love Jamboree,” said Stephanie Ramos, Senior, “ My favorite part is eating the amazing food they have here and buying paintings from the arts and crafts vendors.
