Alex Wilsterman is a graduate student midfielder on the Bloomsburg Men’s Soccer team who has played a pivotal role in the center of the field for the Huskies throughout his time at Bloomsburg. Despite losing his freshman year season to COVID-19, Alex has still accumulated many personal accolades that have helped the team succeed in recent seasons, including all PSAC-second team in 2021, all PSAC-first team in 2023, as well as being named one of the team captains for the 2024 season. He has also been a stellar student in the classroom as he has been named a PSAC scholar-athlete every season he has been on the team. Alex credits soccer as being a “great experience” as he made “lifelong memories and friendships.”
Off the field, Alex is pursuing his master’s in business administration after majoring in criminal justice and German with a minor in legal studies. Alex graduated from Bloomsburg in the spring of 2024 near the top of his class. He now is the Graduate Assistant to Dean Shawver at the Bloomsburg Zeigler College of Business. Alex was also named Vice President of the student athlete organization Protect our Pact. After college, Alex wants to attend law school with the goal of one day combining all his degrees to start his own law firm.
In his free time, Alex enjoys golfing and traveling. In the spring of his junior year, Alex had the opportunity to study abroad in Germany where he was also able to play on a local soccer team in Jena. He then solo traveled Europe for a month afterward that summer.
