Hey Huskies! Now that Knoebel’s Hallofun season is wrapping up with a bang, thrill-seekers might wonder: what’s next? We here at the Voice have been watching a juicy development unfold for the past year: the construction of the all-new Bayern Kurve! This type of ride is a simple, flat loop—similar to a Musik Express or a circuit track. Sound boring? Not quite: The attraction slowly gains speed with each completed lap, culminating at approximately 70 mph. Enthusiasts and experts of the coaster industry doubt it will operate at that exact speed, but according to Stacy Yutko (the park’s public relations director) via a press release, this unassuming beast will be “the park’s fastest ride,” topping the 52mph of Twister. An opening date hasn’t been announced, so stay tuned! 

For the immediate future, like every park, Knoebels will be closed for most of November. But don’t fret; starting Nov. 29th, Knoebels will be unveiling their magical Christmas Village! The park will be adorned with dazzling lights, home-cooked meals, and maybe even Santa Claus. More details to come.
