The beloved and highly anticipated Bloomsburg Fair returns this week, drawing more than 370,000 visitors annually since2021. People from across Pennsylvania gather at the Bloomsburg Fairgrounds to take part in Pennsylvania’s largest agricultural fair.
From carnival rides, vendors, live performances, and a variety of exhibits, the Bloomsburg fair has something for everyone.
There are hundreds of different food vendors that provide classic favorite carnival foods like hot dogs, deep-fried Oreos, funnel cakes and pretzels but also historically significant foods important to Pennsylvania culture, such as PA Dutch pot pie, pierogies, potato pancakes and Amish baked goods.
Beyond food vendors, the Bloomsburg Fair also offers a multitude of merchandise vendors. Clothing, handmade jewelry, locally made honey and beer, and many more diverse types of locally owned vendors and shops to pick from.
Helping to preserve and promote Pennsylvania’s rural culture, the Bloomsburg Fair provides a major sales and visibility opportunity for our local farmers, bakers, crafters, and artisans. Many vendors return year after year to share their work with people, creating a growing customer base that extends beyond the fair.
Some live performances will be held at the Weis Markets Grandstand and admission tickets will vary between performances.
The Weis Markets Grandstand is set to host entertainment for all ages and different tastes. For rock fans, Third Eye Blind, known for hits like “Jumper” and “Semi-Charmed Life,” and legendary band Styx, performing classics like “Come Sail Away.” Country singer Dustin Lynch will bring songs like “Small Town Boy” and “Cowboys and Angels,” while Anne Wilson will perform Christian hits such as “My Jesus.” Hip-hop artist Ludacris known for songs like “My Chick Bad” and “Act a Fool” will also be performing. Comedy fans can look forward to a show with Jeff Dunham.
The Grandstand will also feature other ticketed events like the demolition derby and bull riding, as part of the fair experience.
In addition to the Grandstand shows, the Bloomsburg Fair also features a Free Stage packed with entertainment throughout the week.
Brad Comedy Hypnotist, Bible services, live music from The Mahoney Brothers Band, a veteran’s tribute, and much more are all free with fair admission.
The fair also highlights the region’s agricultural roots and spirit through a wide variety of exhibits. From huge displays of locally grown crops and fresh produce to livestock competitions featuring cows, rabbits, horses, and more, there’s plenty to see for animal lovers and visitors curious about farm life. The horticulture section showcases beautiful handmade arrangements of flowers, plants, and garden designs, while the art section features paintings, photography, crafts, created by talented local artists.
