After the conclusion of the election I set out to interview people on campus about their thoughts and opinions on the results. The statements under each given interviewee are their own words concerning the election. In such an intense political climate it is important to be civil and respectful of each other’s political beliefs and to move forward as a country to do better no matter who the President is.

Statement: “I’m shocked, confused and intrigued about what the future looks like for us. This was my first presidential election that I was able to vote in and such an important one as well. I watched the live results and when it got to the point that PA was leaning heavily red I knew it was over.”

Statement: “I am extremely proud of my state and my country for re-electing Donald Trump. As a veteran who served under the Biden administration, I pray my peers will stop believing the propaganda, being fed to them by the media, telling them they will lose their rights. Trump will do wonders for this country. God bless America.”
