More Information: The Society for the Advancement of Management, known as the SAM club, is an organized group of students at CU’s Bloomsburg Campus dedicated to creating an environment for students to grow as professionals.
In addition to regularly meeting, the club has rooted itself in the community by making business ties. “We connect with local businesses to form fundraising partnerships and tour local facilities to learn about their management strategies. Just last semester, we got a behind-the-scenes tour of the Bloomsburg Airport to better understand the airport industry’s business trends,” stated Events Coordinator Gil Rathman. With a variety of trips and activities, the group has established a feeling of professional connection. The club is composed of students from all majors and is always welcome to new members.
Getting Involved: The club meets every Thursday at 6pm in Sutliff 120. You can also get in touch via LinkedIn or by following their Instagram @sambloomu to stay in touch.
