The Community Government Association (CGA) is excited to announce the newest additions to our Senate: Kelli Graham and Dat Lee. After a successful round of fall elections, these two passionate student leaders have stepped into their new roles, ready to represent the voice of the student body and contribute fresh ideas to the work of CGA.
Alongside welcoming our new senators, CGA also recently held our annual committee elections. These internal elections determine the leadership of our various CGA committees, which oversee key areas such as student affairs, campus events, sustainability initiatives, and academic engagement. We’re proud to see so many returning and new members stepping up to take on responsibilities that shape student life on campus.
Kelli and Dat bring unique perspectives and enthusiasm that already energize the organization. Their focus on inclusive representation and student engagement aligns well with CGA’s mission of advocating for a better student experience. We’re confident they will make meaningful contributions during their time on Senate.
As we dive into the semester, CGA is also thrilled to host and sponsor several exciting events and initiatives. First up is the CGA Thrift Pop-Up, an eco-friendly and budget-conscious shopping event where students can find second-hand clothing and goods. This initiative promotes sustainability while supporting student style and creativity.
In addition, CGA is once again proud to sponsor the shuttles to the Bloomsburg Fair, one of the area’s most anticipated fall traditions. The shuttle service helps make the fair more accessible to students, offering a safe, easy, and fun way to explore local culture, food, and entertainment.
Whether it’s through legislation, student events, or transportation support, CGA continues to work hard to enrich campus life. We’re proud to welcome Kelli Graham and Dat Lee, and we look forward to a vibrant, impactful semester ahead.
Stay tuned for more CGA updates and ways to get involved, we’re just getting started!
