Many of you may have thought about buying or already have a vibrator. If you haven’t gotten one yet, lets discuss the positive effects and proper selection of a vibrator. Vibrators are nice because they can come in all sizes. Some in smaller sizes makes them easier to be kept as your dirty little secret. Keep in mind, masturbation is normal for everyone and can be used as a good stress outlet. But the majority of us chooses to stay private about this intimate topic.

Vibrators are also a good idea if you’re not ready to invest in a dildo. Dildo’s can be a great tool to help you figure out what feels good for you and where. Vibrators do the same, but a vaginal orgasm and a clitoral orgasm are two different sensations. It depends on what mood you’re in, how you want to feel and how your personally orgasim.

A good direction to start finding the vibrator best for you is holding it up to the tip of your nose and turning it on. Weird, I know. However, the theory is that If you sneeze or get too harsh of a tickle, that vibrator is too strong for you. Try to find a slower one. This is called doing the “Nose Test”.

The clitoris has over 8,000 nerve endings. Your nose is another organ full of nerves that can help you determine what will feel best for you. There really is no way to fully test out a vibrator. You can’t just hold it to your genitals or pull down your pants in a store. This is a practical approach to finding the right vibration.

Every clitoris has a different level of sensitivity. Communication between partners and what feels good for each other is always key, even if the partner is short term. But vibrators don’t just have to be used on the clitoris. They also feel good on male genitals and the anus of either gender. It is important to understand how to pleasure yourself. This helps us feel closer to our bodies and can help when telling your partner what you do and don’t like. Vibrators are also great in bed with your partner. It can open so many doors of possible sex positions to use when using a vibrator.

Just like any other sex toy, there is a battle between quality and range of price. If you really want to treat yourself, a Grade A vibrator can cost anywhere up to $150. If you are not ready for that financial jump, there are cheap ones that can be under $10, but these are usually short-term battery operated. More expensive vibrators come with other tools like a suction motion and an attached dildo. They too range in size and shape, so it can take you a few tries until you find the right one.

It is important to clean any sex toys after use. For washing, most sex toys can be cleaned with a specific cleaner, sold at sex shops, or an easier and money efficient way is to just rinse with anti-bacterial soap and warm water. Just make sure it is completely rinsed off before the next use!

I think that everyone should think about keeping a vibrator handy. They are a good way to get intimate with yourself and understand what our body wants. Everyone is different and you can’t expect to know what makes everyone feel good. Sex between two people is supposed to be fun and satisfy needs, so help your partner out and figure out what pleases you!
