Streaming sites like Netflix have been creating original content for years. Everyone knows that most of these movies and shows are either amazing cinematic works or that they should probably never be watched by humans.

With the new year paving way for new content, Netflix is set to be releasing well over a hundred movies, documentaries, television shows and more.

Some of the most prosperous productions that Netflix has created in the past are coming back for sequels, new seasons or even reboots. Movies like “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” are set to have their sequels come out in the coming weeks.

TATBILB even has its finale of the trilogy already filmed and in production. Television shows like “BoJack Horseman” and “Narcos: Mexico” are having more episodes available soon.

Even Taylor Swift has dipped her toes into the Netflix universe in her new documentary “Taylor Swift: Miss Americana,” which by the name alone doesn’t sound too great, but is now surprisingly one of my favorite documentaries.

Netflix’s constant need to be the top web content network has them pushing out tons of new productions every month. To do a list of the entire year would be excessive and probably take too long, so each month I will be doing a brief review of the best of each month’s content.

I think that while Netflix is producing so many shows and movies, there may be some actual hits sneaking in between the Norwegian thrillers and yet another adapted version of Cinderella.

All in all, I think 2020 is going to be filled with a lot of quality content from Netflix; I hope you come along for the watch!

Below are my top reccomendations and what I am most excited about:

Documentaries: •“Taylor Swift: Miss Americana” – out now •“The Pharmacist” – Feb. 5

Movies: •“To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You” – Feb. 12 •“The Last Thing He Wanted” – Feb. 21
