According to governor.pa.gov, Governor Tom Wolf announced today he tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday while isolating himself in his home.

In a statement the governor released, he said he’s symptom-free and is “feeling well.” Wolf continued saying he will carry on his responsibilities as governor “remotely,” similar to many other Pennsylvanians during the pandemic.

In concluding his statement, Wolf said his positive test represents that COVID-19 can affect anyone even if they adhere to the proper safety precautions.

However, he requested his fellow Pennsylvania residents to adhere to guidelines known to help slow the spread of COVID-19, such as wearing a mask, staying home, and socially distancing from members outside your household.
