Huskies Release 2023 Football Schedule

Bloomsburg Huskies football team  has released its 2023 schedule. The Huskies will host five home games at Redman Stadium this upcoming season. The Huskies will be on the road for 6 games. 

Head coach Frank Sheptock will be leading the Huskies. As he will be going into year four as the head coach. 

The Huskies will open the season on Thursday night August 31, as they travel to face Fairmont State University. This will be the second meeting between the two schools. The teams first met in 2005 where the Huskies dominated to win the game 33-0. 

The Huskies will then travel to Clarion University on September 9. They will then have their home opener on September 16 as they face Edinboro at 2pm. They will then travel to Shippensburg on September 23 at 1pm for their first PSAC East game and then face West Chester on September 30th. 

Bloomsburg will then host Kutztown on Saturday October 7 at 2pm. They will host Lock Haven on Saturday October 14, at 2pm. The game against Lock Haven will be the Huskies annual Homecoming game as well as Hall of Fame weekend. 

They will then hit the road again as they travel to East Stroudsburg on October 21 after that they will return home to host Shepherd on October 28 at 2pm. 

The second to last game of the season the Huskies will travel to face Millersville on November 4 at 12pm. They will then cap the regular season off at home on Saturday, November 11. Bloomsburg will face IUP at 12pm. 

The Huskies went 4-7 and 3-5 in the conference last year. They will look to improve in the 2023 season.
