Town police investigate multiple hit-and-run cases

Bloomsburg Town Police are investigating two different hit-and-run instances that occurred within the last two weeks in town.

On Monday, Jan. 28, a vehicle that appeared to be a silver Cadillac struck a pedestrian at the intersection of East Second Street and Penn Street near Carver Hall at approximately 9 p.m., as first reported by WNEP. The driver of the vehicle continued to drive towards Main Street with potential damage to their front bumper; the victim suffered moderate injuries.

Additionally, a similar instance occurred on Saturday, Feb. 2, in which two pedestrians were struck on the intersection of East Main Street and Iron Street; the vehicle in this case was a white Honda Civic, as reported by Columbia County Crimewatch.
Both cases are still open as Bloomsburg Town Police search for additional information, at date of publication.

Individuals with information on either of these incidents should contact the Bloomsburg Police Department at (570) 784-4155.
