Honeysuckle Student Apartments is owned by CGA, last semester, Freshman Jeriah Wirth, a Senate Representative on our Executive Board, took the initiative to lead the Honeysuckle Renaissance Project. We interviewed him for this article to get a glimpse into the details of this project. Wirth defines the project as an opportunity to focus on increasing occupancy, strengthening brand identity, and fostering a vibrant student community through innovative marketing strategies. The goal of the project is to spread awareness of HoneySuckle to the student body as well as work to make Honeysuckle more amenable to the needs of the student body.
Wirth previously worked in corporate real estate holding, specializing in student housing at Penn State. He described the opportunity to work with Honeysuckle as a chance to, “…bridge the gap between students and their housing,” and connect Honeysuckle with its residents, furthermore creating a stronger community.
This project focuses on a few main subjects, marketing innovation, community engagement, sustainable growth, and student-centered solutions. Wirth plans to put into action a modernized approach to marketing, “…ensuring that Honeysuckle remains competitive and appealing to current and prospective residents.” Using tactics such as immersive walkthrough videos, a heavier social media presence, and outreach campaigns.
To create more community engagement and student representation, Wirth states, “Our project emphasizes hosting resident-focused events, gathering student feedback, and fostering a sense of community.” Wirth says through this initiative, he wants all students to feel as though their voices are heard and they can shape their living experience.
The last initiative Wirth spoke on is creating more sustainable growth and student-centered solutions. He said this project was created and is being used to secure Honeysuckle as a long-term, student-preferred housing option. He states, “By continuously refining our outreach, improving the resident experience, and adapting to student needs, we’re creating a lasting impact that benefits both current and future residents.”
