On March 29 and 30 the Bloomsburg University Dance Ensemble hosted their 24th annual spring showcase at the Haas Center for the Arts.
Among the 25 performances, the Bloomsburg University Dance Team showed exhibited their jazz, hip-hop, and finale pieces that will be performed this weekend in the Spring Fling Dance Competition in Washington, Pa.
Each class is formed at the beginning of the semester and have about 8 weeks to choreograph, teach, and perfect a 3-minute performance.
The performances range over many different genres including Afro-Caribbean, Irish hard and soft, Ballet, Tap, and Hip-hop.
The Dance Ensemble is one of the largest student run clubs at Bloomsburg, and the event was coordinated by president Taylor Burnham, vice president Mackenzie Liberta, as well as the rest of the executive board under advisement of Kristin Austin.
