Bloomsburg Town Police are investigating two different hit-and-run instances that occurred within the last two weeks in town.
On Monday, Jan. 28, a vehicle that appeared to be a silver Cadillac struck a pedestrian at the intersection of East Second Street and Penn Street near Carver Hall at approximately 9 p.m., as first reported by WNEP. The driver of the vehicle continued to drive towards Main Street with potential damage to their front bumper; the victim suffered moderate injuries.
Additionally, a similar instance occurred on Saturday, Feb. 2, in which two pedestrians were struck on the intersection of East Main Street and Iron Street; the vehicle in this case was a white Honda Civic, as reported by Columbia County Crimewatch.
Both cases are still open as Bloomsburg Town Police search for additional information, at date of publication.
