As college students, we have a lot on our plates. We have extra curriculars, papers due, work and keeping up a social life. It’s a lot to handle. You might think to yourself, “What is something I can do to unwind and take the stress off?” The answer is sex!

Of course, you have the usual yoga or meditation but sex is proven to relieve stress. Sex can have many beneficial aspects to it. The different positions you can do are stress relievers within itself.

Studies have shown that women and men feel less stressed and were found to be in better moods when partaking in sexual intimacy and orgasming. Sex can lead to feeling less stress and because you are less stressed, you have more sex. The feeling of someone’s touch can give you a strong sense of your emotional health as well as physically.

If you have ever played that game where you touch your partners leg and you inch up every so often to get a smile or giggle out of them, you know this feeling of warmth and giddiness. This feeling alone can make you feel better if you are stressed. Through orgasms, your body produces numerous hormones that leads to relaxation. That’s why it is common to want to go to sleep after sex. During sex, you are taking your mind off of what is causing you stress and focusing on your body.

There are certain positions that specifically can help you unwind. The best positions are ones that will help you forget your troubles, meaning the ones that are full of pleasurable moments.

The first one you can try when you’re right in the middle of your stressful studying.
