Provost set to start new job in July

The Commonwealth University Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Diana Rogers-Adkinson accepted a new role as the Vice Chancellor and Chief Academic Officer of PASSHE on Dec. 4, 2023.

She will begin her new role on July 1, 2024, according to the Provost and Marketing and Communications Department via email.

She currently makes $225,000 dollars a year according to Patch in 2019. Within the change of career into a bigger role, there is no change in salary.

“This is a natural next step in my career. The Chancellor asked me to consider the opportunity and after discussion with him and his team, and the groups I will support in the role it seemed like an great way to extend my knowledge from CU/BU to the system.”, said the Provost about her new role on January 18th via email.

This is an opportunity to take what she has learned at Commonwealth and Bloomsburg and support the PASSHE system, said Dr. Rogers-Adkinson.

She reflects on her experience at the Bloomsburg campus as “an intellectual growth opportunity, especially with the integration of three universities in to one.”
