For 15 years, Emily Zenzel has been a rock in the community, building a loyal following through
her well-known business, Pink Wiener’s.
Her journey began during her college years in town, when late-night food options were
extremely limited. After graduating, she decided to change that.
The business faced some challenges in the beginning. However, over time, the community
embraced it and support quickly grew into something lasting.
In addition to running Pink Wiener’s, she also co-runs a construction company with her brother
in Berwick.
Occasionally, she even brings her talents to weddings as a vendor — sometimes for the
customers she first met years earlier at her stand.
What starts as a quick stop for food can come full circle into being part of someone’s most
special day.
“I love seeing the same faces every night,” she said. “People get so excited when you remember
their order.”
That sense of connection has been at the heart of her success. It’s also helped her build the life
she has today — recently purchasing a farm, where she now spends time with her goats..
“That’s my happy place and this definitely built it,” she shared.
For many in the community, Pink Wiener’s has become more than just a place to eat. It’s a place
tied to memories — where people return with their families to celebrate milestones, traditions,
and everyday moments
